Danny Cottam...you gotta love her

I HAD to post this photo! It is my favorite photo from the soccer season - Danny, our niece is quite the soccer player. Really, she scored at least three goals in every game but one all season and she is only 4! Kasey and I tried to make it to a few of her games, cause she is so DARN cute to watch play soccer. For those of you who don't know Danny - she is ALL attitude and so freakin cute you just have to laugh. She had just scored her third goal of the game and was walking off the field when she decided to strike a pose for all the fans on the side lines! We could not help but take a photo and laugh!!! WHOOHOO! Check out those legs - and her turquoise undies! Some day this will be a blackmail photo!

GO THUNDER...

So again, I am slacking in my job as a mom! Kasey coaches Jonathan's soccer team - FC Ivins, and a few of Kasey's players and Kasey were invited to join another team to enter the Dixie Invitational Soccer Tournament Thanksgiving Weekend. It's a pretty big tournament - 80 teams total entered the tournament from all over. It was crazy! Kasey was asked to help coach and Jonathan was an extra man to sub in and out. It was pretty cool - but wow, let me tell you - to go from Club Soccer to the next level of Competitive was stressful. The games were way more intense and I am a loud soccer mom - shocking I know...I was so into the games that I forgot to take pictures. I snapped a few right before the 2nd game started, but I am really lame - I forgot to take pictures of the team with all their medals! OOPS!! Anyway, after 4 games in two days the boys walked away with the Silver Medal in the U10 boys division. WAY TO GO JONATHAN & COACH COTTAM! I might just have to snap a few photos at home with Jonathan & Kasey and their medal...

Presents Make Everything Better

After Trenton had a bath and got all cleaned up it was time to open some presents. He was in a much better mood after opening a few. I can't believe that he is one. It seems like yesterday I was with Kendra in Seattle right after she got to bring him home - he was so tiny! 3 pounds 10 ounces - teeny!! I can't believe how much he has grown! I am loving every second of Kendra Milton and Trenton living in St George and of course it helps that I am his favorite aunt... :-)

Trenton's First Birthday

Trenton was so excited for his birthday

Look at that big smile - we were all singing to him and he was so excited!

Once all the candles and decorations were taken off - the cake was his to dig into...

"Mom...I don't like this!"

"I really don't like this!!! Make it stop!" Trenton did not like getting his hands dirty. He cried until Kendra cleaned him up in the bathtub. Poor kid! Your first birthday is supposed to be fun.

Trunk or Treat

Okay so I am the worst mom ever, I only took one photo of my child on Halloween and it is with all the neighborhood kids. Mom of the year right here, I know! We have a trunk or treat for the city of Ivins and it's huge, I was so busy passing out candy that I only got one picture of all the kids before they headed out. Jonathan was a storm trooper from Star Wars, he didn't want to wear his mask though...they had a great time and came home with TONS of candy!

Part 2 - J's Expander

Okay, so this is part two - Friday November 2nd he had this thing put in.

Yikes! It made my teeth hurt just looking at it

"Are you awake?" Dr Beckstrom sprayed Jonathan with air to wake him up.

YUMMY! Cotton balls for breakfast...

It's finally in...yeah! Jonathan has actually had it in since the beginning of November, but since I am so on top of blogging, you get to finally see it. Poor thing - when it was first put in his tongue would scrap the top of it and his cheeks got rubbed raw, but he is going strong now. We are in the final countdown to braces! Just before his 9th birthday he is getting braces...just what every 9 year old wants. Maybe if he's lucky we'll spring for something else besides braces! :-)
