Walking with Dinosaurs

Kasey and I took Jonathan to Las Vegas yesterday to "Walking with the Dinosaurs - the live experience". It was amazing! The Dinosaurs looked so real!! It was really fun and Jonathan had a blast! If it comes to your town, we highly recommend it - just don't take small kids. It is really dark during the show and the dinosaurs are really loud. It was perfect for Jonathan though, since he loves dinosaurs. (The show is done by BBC and it's touring the country)

Jonathan & Kasey before the show starts

This is Jonathan's favorite dinosaur - he knew the names of all the dinosaurs - I was impressed

These two fight - the one with all the bumps uses it's tail to fight

The T-Rex was the favorite for most - it was HUGE!!! They made all the dinosaurs true to size so it was pretty impressive - this T-Rex is roughly as tall as a three story building

The T-Rex came out to protect it's baby - the baby Dino is a human with a large costume on, if you look close you can see his legs next to the costume legs, the large T-Rex was driven by that car looking thing under it, but it's legs move as well, so you forget that someone is driving it. The body movements were controlled by remote, it really was amazing. There were all sorts of Dinosaurs - they had a long neck that was at least 40 feet tall! They went through each of the period - Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous and the various Dinosaurs that lived during that time. Some of them fought with each other, others lived peacefully with each other.
